I have for many years had an interest in fine china concentrating on Royal Worcester and other quality companies.
Early last year, a good friend of mine, who was a Royal Worcester restorer, decided to retire due to ill health. He informed me that his moulds for making replacement lids were available to be purchased. So my very good friend of many years, Graham Davies, and myself decided to form a company to produce the replacement lids.
We then needed experienced casters of fine bone china and were very lucky to find a firm in Worcester who could help us. They are all ex-Royal Worcester employees. We have developed a very good relationship with our friends in Worcester and have been fortunate to also acquire the services of a very talented sculpter and designer. We have commisioned him to produce a new figure, of Padraig Harrington, which is now completed and ready for sale.

Sporting ceramic Icons is now up and running and it is our intention to produce a new figure every six weeks. By request our latest figure is
Billy Liddell the famous Liverpool player of yesteryear. This should be completed very soon and is expected to be ready for sale in early March.
